The IBS Association was founded in 1996 as an organization of rail forwarding companies and is currently being designed by approximately 60 member companies from 16 countries.The majority of its members are shippers, freight forwarders and train operators. Furthermore, e.g. wagon owners, terminal operators as well as IT and consulting companies support the association.At present, the focus of IBS is on the development of a product for the renewal of wagon load traffic, the development of required terminals and the support of digitization.
