The mission of the International Research Centre for Healthy Ageing & Longevity (IRCHAL) is to promote healthy ageing & longevity through interdisciplinary collaboration amongst the world's leading experts on the science of health, ageing and longevity, and to disseminate evidence-based knowledge throughout the nations of the developed and developing world for the betterment of humankind. IRCHAL has organised three successful international conferences on healthy ageing and longevity. In recognition of the high quality of the conference programs, the 2nd and 3rd International Conferences on Healthy Ageing & Longevity were co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO). The 2nd and 3rd Conferences were also endorsed by the United Nations Focal Point on Ageing and the Australian Federal Government, with special praise from the Prime Minister of Australia and Federal and State Ministers for Ageing. As the Baby Boomers, the largest generation in history, become elders, the unprecedented rise in the number of people aged over 60 will dramatically expand market demand for medical and lifestyle solutions that will enable them to live healthier, longer and more active lives.
