The International STEM Society for Human Rights (ISSHR) is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to applying STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics) to safeguard, nurture, and empower survivors and individuals who are most vulnerable to become victims of human rights abuses. ISSHR emphasizes especially on the application of modern Science & Technology to address women's and children's rights issues including gender based violence, human trafficking, sexual assaults, female genital mutilation (FGM), the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), and child marriage. We integrate various fields of expertise and offer a multifaceted approach to more fully address the most urgent human rights crises around the globe.
