Sports - Ostrava, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic
International veteran volleyball tournament will, for the first time, take place in the Czech Republic, concretely in Ostrava. The tournament is organized under the auspices of emerging organization IVVA – International Veteran Volleyball Association. Professionalism and long-term volleyball experience would be associated with the Honorary Chairman, volleyball coach Jan Kapera and former profesional volleyball player Mr. Premysl Kubala – participant in the olympic games in 2012 in London in beach volleyball. The goal and main purpose of the tournament is to create a tradition of veteran volleyball tournaments, which would offer the possibilities to compete among the veteran teams in different categories and meet with various players all around the Europe. Are you a passionate volleyball player? Are you older than 35 years and do you believe that you're still in the best shape? If you do, then this event is great for you. Now you can create your own volleyball team and participate in the international veteran tournament of several age categories (35-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 60+).‘Age is no handicap‘ is the fundamental idea of the creators of this tournament, when the international volleyball tournament is as the first of its kind held in the Czech Republic for both men and women.
