Founded in 1995, as the Western Australian Internet Association (WAIA) we are a member-based association representing the Internet community.The Association changed its name to the Internet Association of Australia Inc (IAA) in April 2016. In October 2021 IAA changed its incorporation to a Public Company Limited by Guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and became Internet Association of Australia Ltd (IAA). IAA are providers of IX Australia, Australia's only not for profit and carrier natural Internet peering exchange.
