The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network is a multistakeholder organization. Over 300 entities spanning governments, the world's largest internet companies, technical operators, civil society and international organizations around the world jointly work together in the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network to address the new cross-border legal challenges of the digital 21st century. Its mission is Inform, Connect, Advance: To enhance legal interoperability in cyberspace, stakeholders collaborate in the Policy Network to mutualize information on global trends and processes, connect with key actors to foster policy coherence and advance the development of standards for legal interoperability. The Policy Network bridges the policy sectors of digital economy, human rights and security. Stakeholders in the organization work in three policy Programs: Data & Jurisdiction (cross-border data flows and access), Content & Jurisdiction (Cross-border access to content and restrictions), and Domains & Jurisdiction (cross-border domain name suspensions). Moreover, the organization is the home of the world's first Internet & Jurisdiction Global Status Report , a pioneering mapping of global trends, actors, and solutions initiatives. The regular Global Conferences of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network have in the past been hosted by France, Canada and Germany, and are intentionally supported by the OECD, Council of Europe, European Commission, UN ECLAC, UNESCO and ICANN. The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network has been featured as one of the key initiatives fostering global governance by the inaugural Paris Peace Forum gathering over 80 heads of states and governments. The work of stakeholders in the organization has been showcased in numerous international processes, highlighted by the G7 Cyber Group, and covered in media outlets such as The Economist, The Financial Times or Politico.
