On Intersect, people share stories from throughout their lives at intersections of time and place to discover where they've crossed paths with others.Intersect won a 2010 Techflash Flashie award for most promising newly unveiled startup. In a tweet, New York University professor Jay Rosen called it "the first tool built specifically for a self-informing public to share its stories." On Oct. 30, 2010, Intersect and The Washington Post worked together to tell the crowdsourced story of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally for Sanity and/or Fear on the National Mall.
