Interstate Scholars Details
Interstate Scholars is a nonprofit organization that connects America's underserved youth across state lines and develops their leadership skills to create changemakers who approach our nation's vast social issues with compassion, understanding, and competence. Our flagship program will provide a network of high school students from diverse backgrounds with a fully-funded opportunity to study at a school in a different state. Participating students will also work on an issue that affects their host community. We also provide virtual exchange programs and other social media opportunities for students to connect across geographic divides. These programs will encourage and enable students to pursue higher education and cement their pathway to becoming leaders with influence, while broadening their perspectives to better equip them to solve our nation's complex issues on a larger scale.
