The civil contracting and general building organisation has offices in Adelaide, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs but also operate throughout Australia.With 60 employees ranging from project managers, supervisors, skilled trade operators, labourer's and administrators, Intract boasts an impressive 85% full time Indigenous workforce and 98% Indigenous employment overall. Intract provides a complete range of general construction and building maintenance services delivered by work ready Indigenous tradespeople. Our building capabilities include the following:• New builds for industrial and commercial premises• Maintenance of commercial and industrial facilities• Internal and external refurbishments inclusive of painting, tiling, carpet laying, vinyl coverings, brickwork and masonry• Plumbing – first and second fix• Carpentry – first and second fix• Ceilings and wall linings, eaves linings• Electrical services including first and second fix, data and communications reticulation• Hardware and security upgrades• Metalwork and structural steel• Roofing and cladding• Concreting – foundations, piling, floors, shotcrete, decking, slabs• Landscaping – earthworks, street furniture installation, retaining walls and edging, timber decking and boardwalks, paving, planting• Access and mobility compliance and upgrades• Mine camp construction.Intract has access to over $80 million of company owned plant and equipment.
