Intuba is a registered 501(c)(3) organization fighting poverty and hunger through life giving, faith-based, entrepreneurial agriculture and water projects. The word Intuba is from the African Zulu tribe, meaning access or the gateway.Intuba envisions a world where every community has access to the most basic needs of life.Intuba connects people's passion for others and their resources to disadvantaged and underprivileged communities. The footprint of Intuba primarily spans across the Southern African landscape in the countries of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa and Swaziland. The activities Intuba engages in also occur at home within the United States; mission partners have chosen to build their own raised garden beds as a means of healthy, sustainable gardening. Intuba is the beautiful vision of Raphael Mthombeni, a native Zimbabwean. Intuba was established in 2015 as International Fountain of Hope.
