Investors in Community have created a new and exciting way both organisations and individuals give to our communities.Giving can be in the form of skilled volunteering, general volunteering, donations, fundraising events or even gifts in kind – which all earn our unique and trademarked currency called Community Credits.There is currently no other such delivery system or measure in existence, which has created much excitement across The Cabinet Office, FTSE 100 companies, small businesses and good causes alike.It is the aim of Investors in Community to establish Community Credits as the only international standard of measurement for doing good, all delivered through a sophisticated yet easy to use, FCA compliant web portal.Employees and individuals can easily support good cause projects on the platform, and trace the impact of their giving over time through their unique dashboard.Employer organisations are able to amalgamate their staff to a business dashboard representing the entire company's CSR delivery in the community. The business benefit is: reduced CSR reporting costs; easy employee employee volunteering administration, talent attraction and retention, PR through their own microsite on the platform and easy comparisons with other for sales bids. This will result in increased support to all good causes in the community.All of this is completely free for good causes, free for individuals, and affordable as an annual business membership for all sizes of business, from SMEs with one person right up to FTSE 100 companies.We are a UK based limited company to manage business memberships, and the technical platform, with a registered charity foundation arm to manage donations and giving(1165530).IIC is established by two highly experienced and well connected entrepreneurs, supported by a steering committee consisting of FTSE 100 companies, charities, and education.
