IOUR Foundation is a Brussels-based public utility foundation whose aim is to promote the development and adoption of Internet standards in the general interest of users through a multi-stakeholder approach.In the last 10 years we have seen the emergence of new, disruptive technologies that will give rise to a new internet: open, resilient and capable of natively offering smart services that are now perceived as essential: decentralised identity, content search, electronic messaging, data storage, cybersecurity, confidentiality, traceability, and many more.With new internationally standardized protocols, we have the potential to build a network that guarantees universal resources and rights for all, fostering systems of organization that are truly decentralized and respectful of fundamental rights.
