These moments are often favorite memories of many Iowans, and our state is blessed to be one of the most robust agricultural states in the nation.Also, we take advantage of ‘Iowa Nice' and venture into the streets of our communities to connect with each other, form friendships, and keep our food commerce within our state lines. We buy local, we eat local, we know our neighbors, and we care about our communities.The mission and purpose of INO Market, is to build a bridge between producer and consumer during the times when commerce at an outdoor market is not feasible or convenient. Originally just an idea in 2018, the timing was not right.2020 has brought many challenges and what better time to create urgency than in the midst of a global pandemic?People are starving for connection.People need healthy food.People need community.We believe every Iowa family deserves the access to locally-grown, health-promoting foods that are grown and raised right in our neighborhood backyard.The website (in development) will avail anyone to order food from our many Iowa vendors, and have the products shipped to their front door, shortening the time it takes for that farm fresh goodness to arrive at our table.The website will be a one stop shop for information about local market events, classes, recipes, nutritional information and living the organic lifestyle.
