Responsible for planning and implementation of $20 million grants program, focused on: promoting community & economic development, improving education, and addressing human and social needs in the Southwest Iowa/Omaha region (largest private foundation in IA). Also, responsible for: supervising three professional staff; managing Foundation's website development; developing staff performance management systems; and, coordinating external relationships with regional funders. Developed strategic grantmaking plan for Foundation; 2010 program operating plan; and, updated community needs assessment.
