Integrated : the quality of a product or service will only be optimal and cost efficient if all the IT processes (software development) and business processes are covered by ' quality control' and 'quality assurance'.Even the software testing process itself should be covered by quality assurance. How mature is your software testing process? Are there formal quality gates and milestone reviews integrated in the release management process? Do your stakeholders have clear acceptance criteria? Are requirements formally reviewed and approved? Quality is not just about software testing .
