WHO WE ARE...?As a response to recognized gap between policy and research in dealing withpersistent and emerging water issues undermining Iranian's socio-economic welfare, The Iran Water Policy Research Institute started its activities by supporting of the Kerman's Chamber of Commerce in 2012, as a non-profit, nonpartisan, independent and interdisciplinary Think Tank to play a facilitator role in improving national and local water governance.WHAT WE DO...?We will pursue our mission by providing important and substantial water knowledge and innovative policies, recommending effective and update procedures for setting linkage between research and policy, raising public awareness, promoting social and multi-stakeholder dialogues on water, developing capacities, enabling an effective cooperation environment for private and non-governmental actors participation in water governance processes in accordance with the dominant legal frameworks, technical and economic principals as well as fundamental customary and religious believes.
