IraqCanadaCham – Iraqi Canadian Chamber of Commerce is an independent, non-profit organization embarked on its journey in January 2017. We are a proactive, influential business organization dedicated to promoting and developing business opportunities between Iraq, Canada and those to which the high commission, Canada and the Trade Commissioner Service in Canada and Iraq. Since the launch of IraqCanadaCham, the chamber has built an enviable reputation for arranging high-quality workshops and events that inform and often challenge attendees, in addition to offering quality networking sessions. We work with a diverse network of students, volunteers, institutions, governments, and businesses. Together, we foster youth-centered solutions to overcome inequality and exclusion. IraqCanadaCham bridges the ideas from Canada to Iraq, and design optimal, sustainable solutions to enhance Iraqi market and communityWe provide opportunities for business executives to meet on a regular basis and to exchange information about opportunities in Iraqi & Canada. Such holds seminars and workshops, shares appropriate sources of information and consultation that educate our members and guests regarding trade and investment opportunities, practices and regulations in Canada and Iraq and guidance on best practices in various business fields.We work with a wide range of stakeholders including: government ministries, parliamentarians, civil society leaders, faith groups, business leaders, the security sector, religious leaders, educators, and where appropriate, rebel groups.IraqCanadaCham is managed by an Executive Director and professional staff. The Board of Directors is elected every 3 years by members. The President of the chamber is the spokesperson for the membership. IraqCanadaCham holds an Annual General Meeting and a Strategic Planning Meeting to further develop itself as a leading professional organization
