The Illusionary Rockaz Company comes from an allround breakdance crew IRC that was founded in 1998 in Utrecht. For the past 20 years, IRC has seen the artistic versatility of hiphop oriented dance styles in theater productions, battles, showcases, films and events. Members of IRC are extremely active in the Dutch theater circuit as dancers & choreographers and have collaborated with, among others, the National Ballet, Korzo Theater, ISH Dance Collective, Danstheater Aya, Connie Jansen Danslokaal, the Netherlands Symphonic Chamber Orchestra, Alida Dors / BackBone and Solid Ground Dance Movement. Versatility and creativity have always been the hallmark of this collective that aims to become an important player in the Dutch dance world in the coming years with Shailesh Bahoran as artistic leader.
