Nonprofit Organization Management - Amherst, Massachusetts, United States
Isenberg Global Citizens is a service club and award program. Founded in 2014, IGC members have volunteered over 20,000 hours, and the club currently has over 350 members. In the greater Amherst area, we have a large variety of partnered organizations. Our main goal is to give back to the community in any way we can. Whether that means going out into the community, fundraising, or donating, IGC does a little bit of everything to help organizations that do so much for our community. Members of our club are invaluable to Isenberg School of Management. When a candidate volunteers more than 100 hours during their time at Isenberg, they receive recognition through an Award for Outstanding Citizenship. During their senior year, they are recognized at graduation for this extraordinary achievement. While IGC is focused on giving back to those in our local communities, we also have an International Service Trip to South Africa. This is an incredibly rewarding experience. Students that partake on this journey go to African schools and teach computer literacy, business skills, and so much more. IGC is a Isenberg's premiere service club. IGC strives to continue to go out into the community and volunteer in order to have the greatest impact possible.
