The Mission and Objectives of IUCG are:1. To produce intellectuals, researchers, lecturers and specialists in various academic disciplines with deep understanding on Islamic thought. 2. Producing graduates with the right skills to solve problems for economic, cultural and social development of Ghana and Africa, particularly in deprived towns and villages; respecting Islamic and moral discipline. 3. Creating opportunity for educational and professional development of the youth, particularly in the deprived communities or villages. 4. Creating opportunity for research on all educational topics, giving special attention to educational programmes with links to social, cultural, economic, scientific, technical development issues in Ghana and Africa. 5. Expanding and keeping scientific and cultural relationship between the two countries of Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Ghana. 6. Creating positive relationship and link between nations, various religions and sects. 7. Providing humane and friendly scientific and cultural services to the people of the Republic of Ghana and West Africa, particularly Muslims. 8. Producing and sharing of scientific and cultural knowledge and experiences for the mutual benefit of the two countries. 9. Creating relationship between scholars, centres of learning and universities worldwide, particularly the two countries, Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Ghana. 10. Imparting of high social, moral and spiritual values to students; such as seeking Allah, unity of Allah, humility, responsibility and service toward the poor and needy in society, democratic culture, equality, social justice and respect for national traditions and religions. 11. Establishing the creative environment for cultural, mental and moral discourse and exchange.
