Island Products Manufacturing Company Limited (formerly Island Laundry Products Limited) is the pioneer of "Bulk Chemicals Sales" in Jamaica. The company was started out of a desire by its founder and Managing Director, E. Barry Martin, to ensure that cleaning and sanitizing household chemicals became affordable to all Jamaicans irrespective of their financial status. Since packaging represents a significant portion of pricing, the company encourages the recycling of plastic containers so customers benefit by only paying for the actual product.Incorporated in 1995 the company has been engaged in manufacturing a wide range of household and industrial chemicals, which includes bleach, polishes and sanitizing agents.
