The mission of Ismile Foundation Inc. is to: Enrich the educational experience of children residing in Ghana, remodeling and modernizing educational institutions and extending our support to veterans and the physically challenged. Our project of remodeling and modernizing educational institutions include reconstruct of new Ventilated Improved Pit Latrine, hand washing facilities, provide comfortable desk, build a safe and educative playing ground, neatly fenced canteens, food pantries and to provide clean drinking water at the schools in need of it. Education represents the only way out of a life to entrench poverty for most Ghanaian children. Only the child that can write, do arithmetic and read can hope for a better-paid job when they get old. Education provides more than job skills. It plays a vital role to help a child protect themselves against diseases that can ravage poor communities. Education builds confidence, cohesiveness and community. Educated children are less likely to become victims of violence and abuse.It's our focus to help Ghanaian veterans. Is our mission to assist the veterans in many forms, our charity work is a way of showing appreciation after their long fought wars in foreign lands to help keep a peaceful world. In Ghana, the veterans have no proper pension or stable income to rely on but to rely on families for support. It's part of Ismile's mission to provide more through the donations raised across the boarders of America.
