Indian Synthetic Rubber Limited (ISRL), a Joint Venture of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Trimurti Trading Corporation (now called "Trimurti Holding Corporation"), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of TSRC Corporation, Taiwan and Marubeni Corporation, Japan was incorporated on 6th July, 2010 for implementing E-SBR Project at Panipat, Haryana, with a plant capacity of 120 KTA, based on Butadiene feedstock available from Indian Oil's Panipat Naphtha Cracker Complex. The Company shall produce 1500, 1502, 1712 & 1723 Grades of E-SBR. The SBR Project being implemented by the Company is the first plant of its kind in India. The SBR technology is a highly guarded one and the same is typically not available through a third party licensing route. In this context after persistent diligent efforts of IndianOil, THC and Marubeni, the Company has been incorporated to produce SBR which is currently imported in the country.
