Non-Profit - Issaquah, WA, US
The Issaquah Schools Foundation is a non-profit organization that drives resources to help all students achieve the promise of their academic potential. We do this by bridging the gap between funds the state provides for basic education and the dollars our schools need to prepare students for success in school and life. Company Overview The Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) was formed in 1987 to help conquer the effects of chronic under funding on education in the Issaquah School District. We are an independent, community powered nonprofit organization that has raised nearly $9 million in support of programs that advance achievement, support struggling students, promote professional development and connect students to their futures. Our annual operating budget has grown significantly in the past five years to over $1,500,000 in 2012-2013. The Foundation is nationally recognized for its innovative programs, fiscal management and successful events. We are also a leader in the community that partners regularly with the other influential organizations including the Issaquah and Sammamish Chambers of Commerce, Leadership Eastside, Bellevue College, Issaquah Community Network and Issaquah School District. Description Vision We strive to be the unifying organization that enables the Issaquah School District to provide access to exceptional opportunities district-wide that ignite learning, improve educational outcomes and prepare all students to be confident, competent and engaged citizens.
