The Clinical Institute Villa Aprica is a general hospital fully accredited by the Italian National Health Service which started its activity in 1912 and since 1988 it has been a part of the Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato.The Institute occupies an area of about 13,000 square meters located in Como, on the hill of Monteolimpino. "Villa Aprica" is located in the highest part of an amphitheatre overlooking the lake and completely sheltered from the north winds by the Cardina Mountain.
