ITAD AFRICA (Pty) Ltd (formerly known as Qobo Recycling CC) is a business that specialises in the disposal of obsolete Information technology (IT) Assets and other electronic equipment. Established in 2007, we have 14 years of experience in the recycling industry, the company has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, data security, and regulatory compliance. The founder, Andile Mahlangu has 11 years' experience in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry over 7 of these years were spent as Co-Founder & Operations Director at Elite E-Waste SA, building it into a formidable player in the ITAD industry. In this role he was tasked with spearheading compliance and human capital development, other key responsibilities included business development- some of the highlights were establishing business units such as online retailing of pre-owned IT equipment (E-Device) and urban mining of Electronic Scrap (E-Scrap).
