The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (Magyarországi Olasz Kereskedelmi Kamara) is a private nonprofit association founded in Budapest in 1992 and recognized by the Italian Government in 1998. With more than 200 members, it represents a place of integration and relationship between Italian and Hungarian business community.Hungary, from the second half of 2013, recorded a GDP growth of close to 3% per year and offers numerous opportunities for foreign investors: located in a strategic position for its proximity to Northern Italy, the country is an ideal location for its position; it ensures qualified human resources and high productivity at very competitive prices; it attracts foreign direct investment due to the local government incentives and it receives substantial contributions by the European Union. It is, in short, a country with excellent development prospects and in which Italy enjoys considerable popularity.Today there are already many Italian companies that have identified Hungary as an optimal partner for their internationalization and it is our prerogative to promote this process. Likewise, we provide the gateway to the Italian market for Hungarian entrepreneurs. Our members can also access various reserved services and benefit from our support at all stages of the commercial life of their company.In order to facilitate the development of new business opportunities, the Chamber of Commerce plans and organizes various types of events. In particular, thanks to its flexibility and active presence on the territory, the Chamber of Commerce participates in fairs and exhibitions, it organizes B2B meetings, it hosts business delegations for any type of industry, and it is constantly striving in projects to support the Made in Italy and the Made with Italy.
