The ITC Drilling School is one of the leading companies in Norway providing Technical College in Petroleum. We also have a long experience of providing tailor made petroleum and drilling courses worldwide. We can offer: - Basic Courses - Advanced Courses- Tailor made Courses - eLearningWe are a team of specialists in petroleum, training and eLearning with a vast experience of training personnel in Norway and abroad. Since the start in 1987, we have developed our own computer based training software "PetroTrainer" which probably is the most comprehensive petroleum CBT software on the market. The "PetroTrainer" is the main reason why we can provide our students with very effective courses. Thus, a reduction in cost to the training centre and the students can spend more time with their family and friends. We have provided courses within petroleum and drilling worldwide and some of the countries we have held courses are: USA, Angola, Venezuela, France and Namibia. In addition we have developed a training program for Sub-Sea Engineer, only in Norway, together with one Norwegian Drilling Contractor, and we have also led the development of a training for the senior maritime positions on Mobile offshore drilling units (MODU) such as Platform Manager, Technical Manager and Stability Manager together with the Maritime University in Vestfold, on behalf of the Maritime authorities in Norway.We have also been involved in the development of Technical Standards, such as API RP 65, 1 and 2, Cementing Shallow Water Zones in Deep Water Wells, Voting Group. Our focus was on In-situ stress data, from LOT and ELOT, collected from major oil companies. The team has written several papers on SPE and IADC, both on training and technical issues.
