The ITEXPOSA AND TRADING EXHIBITION project is opting to promote small and medium enterprises and to create a trading platform for small and medium IT companies in South Africa. IT Expo and Trading Exhibition is a "single-sector" and/ "Specialised Trade Fairs as it focuses on ICT sector. Over and above, bringing direct consumers and sellers in one roof, typical ITEXPO exhibitions attract ICT manufacturers and distributors around the world contribute and/or boost the economy by bringing international and local participation. Small and medium enterprises are vital players in South Africa's economy, SME play a role in job creation. Although there has been acknowledgement of the role SME's play, there has been little effort by private and public sector entities in developing and fostering an SME-friendly environment. The ITEXPOSA project is aiming to promote small and medium enterprises and to create a trading platform for small and medium IT companies. ITEXPOSA AND TRADING EXHIBITION is an opportunity to create an ICT trading platform for SME's in the ICT sector and to attract ICT manufacturers and distributors worldwide to participate in the trade fair with the aim to network and foster relationship with South African IT resellers with the aim to impact skill and attitude for innovation. The trading fair will also give a platform to ICT scholars to share knowledge, gain exposure and lastly, provide a platform to trade and directly interact with consumers.
