Izmir Fen Lisesi(Izmir Science High School) was founded in 1983 as the third science high school in Turkey. It is located in the campus of Ege University in Izmir. Izmir Fen Lisesi is one of the most accomplished schools in Turkey. Students are selected through a national placement exam where one has to be in the top 0.1%. Since its foundation, the school has had the first place in national university entrance exams based on the success of its students. Its alumni include many scientists, C-suite executives, engineers, and medical doctors as well as famed musicians. İzmir Fen Lisesi 1983 yılında Türkiye'nin üçüncü fen lisesi olarak kuruldu. İzmir Ege Üniversitesi kampüsünde yer almaktadır. İzmir Fen Lisesi, Türkiye'nin en başarılı okullarından biridir. Öğrenciler, en üst% 0,1'de olması gereken bir ulusal yerleştirme sınavı ile seçilir.
