J and L management is a property management company specializing in effective and affordable property management with a focus on empowering property owners and investors through transparency and education. We are a "hands on" shop and are dedicated to empowering the communities we serve. Transparency, Advocacy and Affordability are our foundational values. Clarity and accessibility is everything. We believe communities need to be able to have ALL relevant information available, not just some of it. As a result, our community portal allows all residence to quickly see their communities governing documents, budget, and reserves. We are always available to address concerns or answer questions and we measure our response time in minutes. As agents of either a property Investor or Board of Directors it is our duty to work for them by keeping their best interests in mind. Being able to interpret our clients wishes and reconcile them with their needs is our specialty. Educating our clients on processes and industry best practices allow them to make informed decisions based on accurate data, not good luck. Building healthy and equitable properties is our passion and we are only able to achieve that by advocating for the people we serve. Property management is our only business, we are not beholden to any contractor and hire only the best contractors at the best price. By managing projects from the first bid to completion, we are present throughout the process and our vendors expect that their work will be inspected for quality. Our consistent and scheduled walk throughs ensure that maintenance is preventative. Reviewing contracts of new HOA's, many times, we are able to save them substantial capital.
