jAshley Boutique is a women's clothing & fashion store. Located in historic Avondale in Jacksonville, Florida, jAshley also sells clothing & accessories online. The owners are Dianne Garcia & her daughter Ashley Holt. This mother & daughter team went into business in November 2001, opening the successful women's clothing boutique J Ashley. Dianne is a retired teacher graduating from Florida State University. Ashley has a degree from Vanderbilt University in civil engineering.Both women have a critical eye for fashion, outfitting their shop in hip, upscale styles for casual, business, and formal occasions. "Jacksonville has no high-end department stores and was in desperate need of a great place to shop," says Ashley, "so we decided to open a shop that has great clothes you can't get anywhere else in this market." The pair spends considerable time in New York, Atlanta and Dallas at buyer's markets.J Ashley has been voted best in class several years running by The Jacksonville Magazine, as well as being recognized by Condé Nast Traveler.
