J & L Green Farm is a grass-based, sustainable 200-acre farm in Edinburg, Virginia. Jordan and Laura Green started the farm in 2009 and have been steadily growing it since then. They raise animals ethically, entirely on pasture, and in harmony with nature. They currently offer pasture-raised poultry, forest-fed pork, and grass-fed and grass-finished beef. They also collaborate with local farms with the same philosophy to provide truly farm-fresh eggs, organically grown vegetables, and other farm foods.In addition to selling through various retail outlets in the DC metro area, J & L Green Farm offers nationwide shipping, home delivery, and delivery to drop-sites all over the Northern Virginia, Tidewater and Shenandoah Valley area. Laura and Jordan have an open-door policy and deeply value engaging with their customers -- in fact, they host a number of educational, fun farm events throughout the grazing season.
