Established in 1968 and incorporated in 1993, J. Torres Company, Inc. (JTC) is a certified small business based out of Bakersfield, CA. JTC has been in the environmental and waste industry for more than 25 years. JTC's beginnings were in the agriculture and transportation industries and in 1987, JTC diversified into environmental services. JTC has been involved in the municipal solid waste service business since 1992 when they were awarded the residential collection services at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Shortly thereafter, JTC began providing commercial solid waste collection, residential and commercial recycling services, the operation of a materials recovery facility, green waste composting operations and Class III Sanitary landfill management.JTC believes that the success, strength and continued improvement of any program depends in a large part upon an open and responsive system of communication and cooperation between itself and its customers.
