Advertising/Marketing/PR - Brookline, MA, US
A company's most powerful marketing tool is the ability of its people to speak clearly and with passion; people focused on their message, confident in the manner they deliver it and able to move clients and prospects to take action. I achieve this with clients in four ways:1-On-1 CoachingI prefer to work with individuals for a short amount of time at each session so they are not overwhelmed and have time and energy to rehearse. We focus on a particular presentation or pitch that that person has either made recently or will be making shortly. I'll review body language, gestures, content and slides. Each exercise is taped.Presentation Training WorkshopsThis is a workshop that would be particularly beneficial for any of your people who may make presentations. It covers the body language of presenting as well as how to open and close a presentation. The goal is to make people feel more confident about their presentation style, which I do through a series of exercises, all taped. This workshop runs over 2 half days and is best suited for about 7 people.Pitch ConsultingCompanies use me when they are a few weeks away from an important pitch (sometimes a few days). I typically sit in on the rehearsals and work to get everyone and everything focused on the important takeaway that the group will be advocating. I'll also review all PowerPoint slides to make them work more productively. An additional benefit is that it forces rehearsals, which otherwise might not occur.Annual Meeting ConsultationI work with companies putting on large annual meetings to help them iron out the agenda, and rehearse all of the speakers. Specialties: Architectural & construction firms, life science companies, professional service businesses, financial and investment companies, not for profits, and more. Most recently I am an instructor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and have been a guest lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management
