Jack Travis FAIA ARCHITECT, founded in 1985, is an design practice specializing in architecture, interiors, cultural design consulting and academic theory exploring princples and concepts for evolving a definitive black aesthetic within the environemtal design disciplines.In over thirty years of practice, Jack Travis FAIA ARCHITECT has drawn a unique clientele including fashion designer Giorgio Armani, film director and actor Spike Lee, actor/ producer Wesley Snipes, pizza-magnet Jerry Sbarro, and ABC/ ESPN sports anchor John Saunders among others.Mr. Travis's interests are not solely in high-end/ high-profile design. He is also active in civic duties, mentorship and social responsibility initiatives serving predominately black and under-privileged communities.
