Jacob's Ladder Foundation Inc Details
Jacob's Ladder Foundation Inc was created in response to the gap in funding for individuals aging out of the school system who were deemed "unemployable" with no training or transitional services made available. Local governmental agencies refused funding and staffing for individuals with this "unemployable" designation, invoking the need for Jacob's Ladder Foundation to take the lead in establishing funding sources for those businesses willing to incorporate a special needs training program into their workforce. Created to primarily support the efforts of Jacob's Ladder (On the Spectrum Employment), Jacob's Ladder Foundation hopes overtime to be able to provide financial resources for other programs taking a lead in meeting this overwhelming community lead. Our hope and vision is to become a financial resource for organizations who ultimately provide individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in North Brevard a means to foster creativity, confidence and skills that translate into meaningful and fulfilling employment. We also aim to generate support and awareness in the community while giving back to them at the same time.
