JAF Bakery formerly known as ALAFIA BAKERY was establish in 1955. An institution with over 50 years of reputable standing in Ibadan. Alafia Bread emerged in the ancient city of Ibadan and started with the production of small loaves of bread that tasted so good and was also very affordable, bridging the gap between quality and quantity.Pa Justus Adesida (J.A) Falade, the founder of Alafia Bakery established the bakery with the aim of ensuring that everyone was able to access the bread which he deemed an essential commodity. Pa Falade was also the first baker to create the twin bread in Nigeria popular called "burédi o lomo mééji", He was also the first to purchase a bread slicing machine which made Alàfia Bakery the first bakery to begin the production and distribution of sliced bread in Oyo State.Alafia Bakery was one of the best bakeries in Ibadan to the point Pa Falade was named the "THE KING OF BREAD". Every ingredient used in the baking process was of the highest standard. Quality was the Watchword.
