Hello! My name is Jake Rains and I am the guy behind Jake Rains Photography… I bet you could have guessed that!I'm not very good at writing about myself, so I'll just tell you my interests.I really like movies. It's an unhealthy obsession. I also love Mongolian Grills… Also unhealthy obsession.The two greatest things in my life are my girlfriend, Mandy, and my Daschund, Dexter. … Also.. Unhealthy. Seriously… You don't know love till you've had wienie love… And that sounds bad, but I'm going to let it slide.Now as far as photography goes, I've been doing it for quite awhile now, and there is just something about headshot photography that jumps out at me. Some photographers just love it when you capture that smiling baby, or the happy wedding couple, or the pretty senior. For me, getting the expression and the clean look of a headshot is what does it for me.My process is based heavily on expression so if you feel like you are going to be awkward in front of the camera, trust me… I'm a professional… I'll make you look good!
