Jaldhaara Foundation (JF), a non-profit organisation, provides sustainable access to safe drinking water to the underserved communities (both rural and urban) and also brings about behavioural changes towards sanitation and hygiene practices through community awareness programs. Jaldhaara Foundation was established on 23rd September 2011 and registered as a section 8 company under the Companies Act 2013 a 'non for profit' organization that designs and implements social programs to transform water and hygiene practices in underserved communities in India . JF's goal is to provide sustainable and integrated WASH services in the Rural/Urban areas at national and international level. Jaldhaara believes in ‘quenching a bigger thirst' through actions which bring about a positive change in the lives of underserved people. The Company's mission is to develop and implement sustainable Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) solutions in over two thousand (2,000) communities by 2020. It's core values are: Just, Humility, Integrity, Resilience and Creativity. JF through its technical partner WaterHealth India (WHIN) has created a unique sustained decentralized BOT (Build Operate Transfer) - PPCP (Public Private Community Partnership) model for providing safe, WHO-standard and affordable drinking water to the underserved populations in India.
