The James Blackstone Memorial Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public library located in the heart of Branford, Connecticut. The library was founded by Timothy Blackstone, a successful railroad president in Chicago, Illinois, and named in honor of his father, James, who had grown up in Branford. Construction began in 1893 and was completed in 1896.
