Outriggers is a program out of James Madison University's Office of Student Activities and Involvement. Our mission is to help other organizations on and off campus to reach their full potential and accomplish their mission. We do this by developing and facilitating programs and workshops that open dialogue about and develop teamwork, communication, energy, and leadership. Outriggers work in small teams to develop and facilitate programs and discussions that generally last an hour. We facilitate to groups of ten to two-hundred and ten. Outriggers also work on committees to foster internal development and growth. We engage in project analysis of pilot programs, regular programs, and outreach efforts using feedback surveys and impact analysis in order to foster organizational development and individual growth.
