The Institute was first established in 2019 through a generous grant from the NSW Government with matched funding from a group of universities: the University of Sydney, Western Sydney University and UTS. Our work is defined by new and novel ways to unpack problems to generate practical and long-lasting solutions. Bringing experts together to solve a problem is at the core of our work.To do this, we need to transform the relationship between government and academia.By creating a neutral space that facilitates collaboration, co-design and co-delivery, policy makers and universities can work better together for the public good.
