Founded in April 2013, Jamuura is an online platform for young and aspiring independent filmmakers. With the aim to engage with the new age storytellers and support them in making a mark in the world of motion pictures, Jamuura is an effort to build a resource base that the budding filmmaker can use and benefit from.As the voice of the Indian indie filmmaker, we cover a wide array of themes of interest to the filmmaking community. From tips and DIY resources for filmmakers to Online Workshops with the best from around the world, to interviews with leading Indian filmmakers, to the latest news on the Indian indie scene as well as information on film festivals and events, we cover everything. It is our endeavour to have the richest and most informative platform for the community.With Jamuura Brigade we are attempting to create an exclusive filmmaker club which offers select products and services to filmmakers leveraging technology and organisation for the benefit of the community.
