In an attempt to mend kitsch trinkets, industrial hardware, as well as resurfacing precious materials, Janky Jewels works towards ideas of collection and treasure. Founded and designed by Carol Li in her native city, New York, she draws inspiration from the claw machines outside bodegas, trips to the dollar store, Coney Island, as well as watching her father work as a jeweler.
