At Japu, we are committed on working together to protect the remanent of Ecuatorial Pacific forests and the species that rely on them. The Japu program aims to improve Jaguar, Puma conservation via activities related to:1. Filling research gaps on biodiversity, particularly mammals status and distribution of Western Ecuador.2. Supporting mitigation strategies such as habitat restoration and protection, ecological corridors, and sustainable resource management.3. Addressing and reducing illegal wildlife trafficking and wildlife-human and cattle conflict.4. Producing material for environmental education.
