Jarom, in hindi, means roots.A people without roots is a people who have lost their traditions, their culture, their identity. It is a people without a future.The Association Jarom was founded in Turin in 2011 and was established as a non-profit organization (ONLUS) in 2013. It aims to support the ādivāsī populations, i.e. the "original inhabitants" of India, following a sustainable development path, respectful of the natural environment where they live since thousands of years and sustaining actions to preserve and enhance their ancient traditional culture.
