Jatflora is a leading private sector conservation corporation that was founded by John Mbuu Inc. in 2007. Jatflorta offers a refreshing approach to effectively mitigate the adverse effects of climate change at the local and global level. Their approach includes the conservation and utilization of genetic diversity, responding to climate change, promoting food security and nutrition, and promoting herbal medicine and health.Over the years, Jatflora has embarked on an environmental journey by nurturing tree seedlings such as Giant Bamboo, Prunus Africana, and nutritious plants that are disappearing from the world. Now, after many years of dedication to their work, Jatflora is the single largest private sector player in nurturing and planting tree seedlings in Kenya. They have been recognized and awarded numerous times for their efforts, most notably in 2012 with the Total Eco-Challenge Award.Ultimately, Jatflora's goal is simple – to show the communities in Kenya and around the world the benefit of safe-guarding the environment in practical terms, which allows these communities to own the process of sustainable development while responsibly harvesting their energy needs.Through strategic partnerships, Jatflora invites individuals, corporate entities, developmental and environmental partners, governments and international organizations to participate in walking the talk on restoring our environment.
