We are a 501C3 non-profit, operated by a volunteer board of directors who's mission is to preserve and restore the Jayhawk Theatre back to its historic beauty. The theatre was built in 1926 and closed in 1976. Recently, the theatre has come back to life, and we're confident we can raise the $8 million to get it fully restored. Once complete, it will host a wide range of live entertainment events, films, corporate and private events. Our capacity will be 1,000.
