ABOUTFounded in 2012, JAYU is a registered charity that shares human rights stories through the arts and engaging dialogue. YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMMING:1. iAM program: a weekly project that connects professional photographers and storytellers with undeserved youth with the aim of empowering them through the arts. 2. Human Rights Screening Series: quarterly premiere film screenings throughout the year that draw attention to some of our world's most pressing and important stories. 3. Human Rights Film Festival: our annual Human Rights Film Festival takes place at the prestigious Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema in the heart of Toronto each December during human rights month.4. The Hum Podcast: a weekly podcast that cuts straight to the heart of human rights stories. Raw, honest and uncensored, from the people who have lived them first-hand.
